22-November-2012 - III Int'l investment Forum to be held in Karaganda
The III International Investment Forum "Karaganda Invest - 2012" will be held today in Karaganda, the press service of the region's local administration informs.
"KaragandaInvest-2012" is one of the final events in the investment sector of the country, the report says. The regional akimat with the support of the Kazakh Government have organized the event.
According to the press service of the region's akimat, the forum will be attended by Governor of Karaganda region Abelgazi Kussainov, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev, heads of banks and financial institutions, foreign ambassadors and representatives of international and domestic business communities, the leading international experts in the field of economy and investment, akimats of districts, central and local government bodies.
This year, the forum will discuss the state of the industrial, transport and energy systems as a key component of the investment climate in the region.
Also it is expected to consider the following questions: new projects in the traditional sector of Karaganda region mining complex, the potential to attract large foreign capital to projects in the field of agriculture and tourism.
Besides, within the forum an exhibition of investment projects will be held.
In addition, memorandums with more than 20 potential investors on projects worth over KZT 330 billion are planned to be signed within the forum.
